Sneak peek at a little progress made for an upcomi Sneak peek at a little progress made for an upcoming Baby quilt pattern #wip #babyquilt #liondresden #dandylions
Updating my progress which has been slow. Mainly b Updating my progress which has been slow. Mainly because i took a break to work on a baby quilt idea. But just a few more rows left and then i will start of the little filler blocks. Home stretch 😉 but not sure this will get finished before Santa gets here. #letterstosantaqal #xmasquilt #xmasquilts #xmasquilting #moda
Just an update on this #letterstosantaqal i think Just an update on this #letterstosantaqal i think I am in the homestretch now. I have five words/phrases to go, but some of them are long phrases. My goal is to have this done by mid-October. I think I can do it if I push hard.
I just wanted to post a little update on this Lett I just wanted to post a little update on this Letters to Santa quilt. While the blocks are tedious to make, I do feel like I’ve gotten over a hurdle as the blocks are going together a little faster now. There are about five more words/phrases to go and then I’ll start making filler blocks. Looking back over my progress. I can see several things that I know I want to fix before I start putting things together. I had originally wanted Love, Joy, Peace and Hooe to pop out, so I made those in reverse. I’m happy with all of them except Joy, which is really joyful, and I’m not liking the way it goes together. I mainly think the little sashing piece at the bottom needs to be changed back to white. If anyone has any other ideas, I’d love to hear it. #letterstosantaqal #showmethemoda #basicgreyfabric #xmasquilt
This week’s progress. Let me just say that ‘X’ is a HARD block to make. If anyone else is making this quilt, I sure hope your quilt doesn’t have any x’s in it. #letterstosantaqal #modabakeshop #xmasquilt #alphabetquiltblocks #alphabetquilt
#letterstosantaqal a little progress update. This #letterstosantaqal a little progress update. This is gonna take FOREVER.
Not quite sure what i was thinking when i decided Not quite sure what i was thinking when i decided to make this. It is possibly the most difficult quilt i have ever planned and cut. Or it could just be that i am overthinking it. But of all the quilts i have made, this is the one i hope my family will cherish since Christmas is such a huge and exciting part of our family traditions. I asked my husband and our 3 grown kids to each select some words of what xmas means to them. Of course Pauls all revolves around food.😳 i am mostly using the Naughty or Nice collection by #basicgrey with a few odd bits by #sweetwaterfabric and some other #moda scraps i have around. Anyway, i am trying to get this cut to take on my May retreat, but it is looking like i may not have it all ready to sew by then. Especially since i keep making changes! Wish me luck!
