Like the name implies, the Four H Quilt Block resembles four H’s arranged in two rows in alternating fashion.

I’ve illustrated the design in two colorways – one showing four colors and another using only one color so you can get a feel for what this design does visually.  You’ll notice that in the one color option, your eye is pulled to the empty space or the “holes” formed by the H’s. In the four color option, your eye is drawn to the darker values.
