The Prickly Pear Quilt Block, designed on a 7×7 grid, incorporates many half-square triangles to form a border. When the blocks are grouped together in straight sets, the borders combined with neighboring blocks to create a zig-zag design. (See grouping example of Prickly Pear Quilt Blocks below.)
