Four X Star Quilt Block
Skill level: Intermediate
The Four X Star Quilt Block is 5-patch quilt block made of squares and Half-square Triangles. The block’s most notable feature is a central 9-patch, with HSTs placed around each corner to make the points of a star.
This block looks especially nice when grouped together either in straight sets or straight sets with sashing. With careful color shading, the block almost appears to create a plaid pattern.
