Georgia Quilt Block

You are here:

Skill level: Confident Beginner

The Georgia Quilt Block is a great example of a “tile design” meaning, this is a pattern that mimicked an old tiling pattern. It is comprised of simple squares and a few half square triangles with a careful focus on the use of light, medium and dark colors.

Notice the way that a grouping a Georgia Quilt Blocks generates a “donut” or circular design where the blocks intersect.
