Queen Victoria’s Crown Quilt Block
Skill level: Intermediate
The Queen Victoria’s Quilt Block is a 7×7 grid design consisting of squares and rectangles surrounding a central square-in-a-square. The block is finished with a border of half-square triangles. I’ve drawn up a few grouping examples to show you how the design plays out in a quilt setting. Because of the visual weight of the half-square triangles, the design looks more balanced when the blocks are set on-point
