The Log Cabin Quilt Block is one of the most easily identifiable quilt blocks to the general public. Traditionally, the block is made with a red central square, light strips on two adjacent sides of the square, and dark strips on the other two adjacent sides of the square.

The Log Cabin Quilt Block is also a very versatile design. Below are a few of the more popular ways to arrange the blocks.
